Corte San Ruffillo's 12 hectares of vineyards are organically farmed along the Montone Valley between the villages of Dovadola and Rocca San Casciano, in the high hilly area at altitudes between 250 and 450 meters above sea level on the calcareous soils of the lower Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines. The vineyards cultivate the main Romagna grape varieties, primarily Sangiovese and Albana, but also international varieties that adapt well to cooler, calcareous areas, such as Pinot Noir and Merlot.
