Cà Dei Zago
Pad 20 | A6 desk 6
Our story begins in 1924, among the hills of Valdobbiadene, where for generations we have cultivated vines with respect and dedication. We produce bottle-fermented wine, following simple and natural methods-the same methods that have guided our family’s work throughout the years.
In the vineyard, we work by listening to the land: we do not use herbicides and practice cover cropping and composting to nourish the soil and preserve its vitality. Every action is guided by the belief that quality comes first and foremost from respect for the environment.
In the cellar, everything is done with the same care. The grapes are hand-selected, and the three-level structure allows us to harness the power of gravity and avoid unnecessary mechanical interventions. We do not add additives, and the use of sulfur is minimal, because we want each wine to tell its own story, without artifices. This is how our three crus are born:Ca’ dei Zago, Mariarosa, Bastia-three wines from three lands of Valdobbiadene
